Mysterious Maze

He woke up on the cool stone floor, dizzy. When he opened his eyes, he saw that he was in a narrow corridor, dimly lit. His memory was hazy, he could not remember who he was, how he had got here. He stood up and began to walk down the corridor with timid steps. There were strange symbols and writings on the walls. "Where am I?" he asked, almost in a whisper. The answer was only the echo of silence.
